Sarah's Bisquick Cake

Yeah, I know what you're thinking. Bisquick? In a cake? Seriously, y'all. It's good stuff.

2 eggs
1 1/2 tbsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
4 cups Bisquick
3/4 cups chocolate chips
1/2 cup powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease & flour 9" x 13" pan. Mix eggs, vanilla and milk. Set aside.

In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Alternately add milk mixture and Bisquick to creamy butter. Pour into pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake 35-45 minutes (test with toothpick for "done-ness"). Sprinkle cake top with powdered sugar.

I LOVE BISQUICK CAKES! Because they aren't too sweet, they go perfect with a cuppa coffee for dessert!

Thank you so much for this recipe. It is in the oven right now sprinkled with butterscotch and chocolate chips. This may be my new favorite thing to bake - so simple and so yummy!

Well it's in the oven! I thought I had chocolate chips but I only had a quarter of a bag!!! So, I used that and Smarties (Canadian Smarties!). Looking forward to tasting it!
